I have a %26quot;wonderful%26quot; pomegranate tree in my yard. The 2 fruits on it right now are the size of a baseball, and a little larger than a hackey sack. They are a nice orange-red color. I don%26#039;t know when to pick, though.
How can I tell when it is time to pick a pomegranate?
Pick them when they start to look leathery.If they are still robust in their growth,meaning still fresh and plump,they aren%26#039;t ready.Once you pick them,they won%26#039;t get any riper,so leave %26#039;em till they start to look a TAD leathery,and deep red in color.
