What's the easiest way to get the seeds out of a pomegranate?

I need some pomegranate seeds to garnish a salad, but last time I tried tackling a pomegranate I ended up mutilating it, squashing a lot of the seeds and dyeing myself bright pink from the elbows down. Help....?

You cut it into sections and you can peel of the thin skin easily and separate the seeds. Just make sure that you wear clothes you don%26#039;t mind getting dirty.
